And I will betroth thee unto me forever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord.
Paul - 7 years. It's been a long time. A long time to watch, to wait, to listen, and then finally to pursue. And yet I wouldn't trade these years for anything. I honestly don't remember the first time that…

Because our wedding falls on Presidents Day weekend, prices are inflated and it is particularly difficult to find any facility in Red River willing to give discounted rates. There are three properties, two in Taos and one in Red River, who have offered us discounts:
Taos hotels (32 miles from wedding location):
El Camino Lodge
615 Paseo Del Pueblo Sur, Taos, NM 87571
(575) 737-0447
$69+ taxes per night
Indoor Pool and Hot Tub.
Discount will no longer be available two weeks before the wedding.
Sagebrush Inn and Suites
1508 Paseo Del Pueblo Sur, Taos, NM 87571
(575) 758-2254
http://www.sagebrushinn.com
$89 Courtyard Room
$99 Studio Suite (1 king bed, 1 queen bed)
Hot Tubs, Outdoor Heated Pool.
Children 17 and under stay free. 18 and older, an additional $10 per person above 2 adults.
Discount will no longer be available one month before the wedding, on January 13, 2016.
Red River Condos and Hotels:
Edelweiss Condominiums
www.edelweissusa.com
(575) 754-2942
This facility has recently agreed to give 10% discount to our wedding guests. Their 2-3 bedroom condos (with an additional roll out bed or sofa sleeper in the LR) can accommodate a total of 5-9 guests (the majority accommodates 7) for $175/night + tax. Price is based on 2 people with an additional $15 charge for each extra person. If shared by 2-3 parties these can turn out to be nearly as economical as reasonably priced accommodations in Taos. Heated pool and hot tub available.
If you wish to explore other options in Red River, we recommend you visit www.red-river-nm.com or www.redriverreservations.com and look around for something that might work for you. Otherwise, Taos is a 32 mile drive away, and a much larger town with more shopping, groceries, restaurants, etc.
Taos and Red River are reportedly efficient at prompt snow removal but in the case of heavy snow fall on the wedding day, travel could slow down from Taos to Red River.
We are praying for beautiful winter weather for our alpine wedding! The weather around that time typically has temperature highs around or slightly below freezing, but we strongly encourage you to check the weather before you pack. Though the roads are cleared promptly there will be snow on the ground, and you should plan to bring applicable warm clothing and footwear.
For those who want to do some skiing at the same time, Taos Ski Area, Angel Fire Resort, and Red River Ski Area are all around 30 miles of each other. Wolf Creek (3 hours away) is the nearest Colorado ski area.
As the lily amongh thorns, so is my love among the daughters. As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
We value a quiet and simple life and will be beginning our lives together in a tiny house where space is limited. Please bear this in mind and if possible choose from the items on our gift registry or contribute in a monetary way.
Above all, your friendship is the greatest gift! Thank you for every treasured memory you have and will contribute to our lives.
Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of a friend's counsel that comes from the heart.
Please leave us a note. We'd love to hear from you!
How absolutely precious! This made my day! Maybe a quilt or a painting? Oil or watercolor?
You two are blessed. What gorgeous pics!
Such a lovely site! Thank you so much for sharing the way in which God has led and guided your life. We look forward seeing how He will continue to use you both in His service. We love you so much pray that you will continue to be richly blessed 🙂
